The Third National Training Course on ISO 9001 Certification concluded on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
The course began on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the headquarters of the Regional Conference of Eastern Universities (CRUEST), located on the campus of the University of Sétif 1 – Ferhat Abbas.
It was held over four full days, from April 6 to 9, 2026.
This course was organized as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s action plan aimed at strengthening quality assurance in higher education institutions.
The training was led by Professor Haroun Omar, Head of Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Fatima Yousfi from the University of Tlemcen, an expert in ISO systems and standards.
It was delivered for the benefit of research professors responsible for quality assurance and ISO certification at 39 university institutions selected as pilot institutions for this first national initiative.
The course was attended by the Permanent Secretaries of the Regional Conferences of Universities.
At the conclusion of the course, under the supervision of Professor Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, President of the Regional Conference of Eastern Universities, certificates of participation were awarded to all participants in recognition of their commitment and contributions throughout the training period.
The trainers were also honored in appreciation of their expertise and professionalism.
